ENCOUNTER WORSHIP FLAG CHALLENGE | JUNE 15-19, 2026

Personal Worship to Flag Ministry

A 5-day journey into what it means to minister with worship flags.

Move from personal worship to worship flag ministry

What is beyond personal worship?

There comes a moment in worship when something shifts. You are no longer just responding to God for yourself. You begin to sense that what happens between you and Him carries weight beyond you.

You feel it in your hands when you pick up your worship flags.
You feel it in the room as you begin to move.
You feel a difference.

And a question quietly forms: Is God inviting me into something beyond personal worship?

The Encounter Worship Flag Challenge is a next step, rooted in Scripture, to help you understand the shift from personal worship to flag ministry, so you can carry what God releases with alignment and authority instead of moving from inspiration alone.

The Free Encounter Challenge is...

  • Scripture-rooted teaching series that clarifies the difference between personal worship and flag ministry
  • Guided process to help you discern whether God is inviting you into something beyond personal worship
  • 5-Days of live formation, not just inspiration, designed to deepen alignment and stewardship of a ministry call
  • Safe but weighty space to examine how you carry the presence of God in worship
  • Bridge between encounter and intentional next steps in flag ministry

The Encounter Challenge is NOT...

  • Beginner's introduction to worship flags
  • Choreography workshop focused on learning new movements
  • Shortcut into ministry without formation or paid training
  • Replacement for your local church covering or leadership
  • Designed for those who have not yet developed a personal flag worship practice

This is about crossing the threshold into a ministry call; not arriving at mastery.

The Stirring

Holy Spirit is pushing me deeper into Him, and although I don't know if I will ever flag at church, I know He's doing something. And I'm being trained for a purpose. ~Jeannette

The Call into Public Ministry

God has been calling me deeper and deeper into intercession and into a place of public intercession and declaration with the flags. Such a beautiful gift that God has given us.
~September

The Heart of Ministry

Lord help me to be obedient to Your calling on my life. Fill in the gaps where I lack, and help those I minister to see YOU and not me.
~Emily

Tools That Match the Calling

The kingdom advances when worshippers understand their authority and carry tools that match their calling. Authority comes from intimacy
~Maria

Meet Andrea York

Catch the Fire Worship Flags

Andrea has created prophetic worship flags and served as a worship leader for 15 years. She carries what Scripture calls the maker's anointing - the same principle at work in Exodus 31, when God filled Bezalel with His Spirit for the specific purpose of creating holy things.

What Andrea builds carries spiritual weight. What goes into the making flows into the tool, and the tool goes into your hands.

Breakthrough Flags

Pat carries the office gift of teacher; the kind Paul describes in Ephesians 4, given by Christ to equip the saints for the work of ministry. Pat's students don't become dependent on her. They become more capable.

She brings biblical depth, formation structure, and the kind of teaching that builds a foundation under your feet that will hold.

From Personal Worship to Flag Ministry

What You’ll Experience Over 5 Days

Over five days, we will walk through the theological and practical shift from personal worship into ministering worship. Each day builds on the last.

Day 1 – Ministry Begins with Intimacy
Encounter precedes commission. Isaiah 6 sets the order.

Day 2 – Stewarding the Presence of God
There is a difference between expressive worship and carrying presence.

Day 3 – Ministry to the Lord and Ministry to Others
Vertical worship releases horizontal ministry when God initiates it.

Day 4 – Authority Through Alignment
Why formation and consecrated tools both matter.

Day 5 – Committing to the Path of Flag Ministry
Inspiration is not enough. Stewardship requires decision.
