new direction

Transforming lives among an under-served segment of Uganda’s rural population so that they are liberated from vulnerability that comes from generational poverty.

the problem

Most non-government organizations (NGO) are concentrated in urban areas. There is a lack of education & training centres in rural Uganda due to a lack of necessary infrastructure such as water, electricity, and human resources.

As a result, many underprivileged people in rural areas don’t have an opportunity to receive education which could improve the standard of living for themselves and their community because they cannot afford the high cost of studying in schools located in urban centres.

Without an opportunity for advancement, people are stuck in a cycle of poverty which leads to a lack of purpose, depression, and high suicide rates. Those affected by poverty often develop destructive coping skills such as gambling, drug abuse and prostitution.

PURPOSE

To transform lives among an under-served segment of Uganda’s rural population so that they are liberated from vulnerability that comes from generational poverty.

MISSION

To provide immersive (live/work) Christian discipleship and vocational training in rural areas in order for individuals to effectively provide for their own families while providing skills that benefit their rural community and contribute to Uganda’s economy.
